1UZ-FE, 2UZ-FE & 3UZ-FE VVTi Bosch 82mm DBW Throttle Body Adaptor

Description

Venom Automotive 1UZ-FE, 2UZ-FE & 3UZ-FE VVTi Variant Drive By Wire (DBW) Throttle Body Adaptor was specifically designed to mount a Bosch 82mm (PN: 0 280 750 473 - Not Included) to the VVTi OEM Intake Manifold to enable a host of benefits when paired with an aftermarket ECU, such as:

1. Tidy up the Engine Bay by deleting the Throttle Cable.

2. Increased Tuneability and Idle Control

3. Launch control capability

This bracket is reversible to suit either chassis- or aftermarket-fuel-line configurations, as shown in the photos.

An O-ring seal is included for mounting the throttle body; however, the design retains an OE gasket (22271-50042 - not included) for the blown injector port block-off and intake air guide.

An optional Throttle Body Coolant By-pass block off plate kit is also available. Note: Installing the DBW Throttle Body will require plugging the coolant lines on both sides.

Requires the use of an aftermarket ECU and E-throttle pedal. 

Installation Tips

1. Remove OEM Throttle Body.

2. Remove existing manifold studs with Vice Clamps in an anti-clockwise direction.

3. Ensuring the OEM Gasket is correctly positioned, install the Adaptor Plate.

4. Ensuring the 2mm O-ring is correctly seated, install a Bosch 82mm DBW Adaptor.

5. Complete Wiring Installation - Refer to Bosch Installation Instruction (not supplied).

6. Reinstall Intercooler Piping - Additional lengths or bends will be required as this throttle body is shorter than the OEM Variant.
