1JZ-GTE Non-VVTI Bosch 74mm DBW Extended Throttle Body Adaptor

Description

Venom Automotive 1JZ-GTE Non-VVTi Drive By Wire (DBW) Throttle Body Adaptor is designed to mount a Bosch 74mm (PN: 0 280 750 474 - Not Included) to the Non-VVTi OEM Intake Manifold to enable a host of benefits when paired with an aftermarket ECU, such as:

1. Tidy up the Engine Bay by deleting the Throttle Cable

2. Increased Tuneability and Idle Control

3. Launch control capability

This bracket is reversible to suit chassis or aftermarket fuel line configurations.

This DBW is the extended version for throttle body installation on 90-degree angles; we also offer a slimline version - refer to the 1JZ-GTE section.

Requires the use of an aftermarket ECU and E-throttle pedal.

Installation Tips

1. Remove OEM Throttle Body as per the Toyota Repair Manual (TSRM)

2. Remove existing lower manifold studs.

3. Ensure the 3mm O-Ring is correctly seated. Install Adaptor Plate (no gasket required).

4. Ensure the 2mm O-ring is correctly seated. Install the Bosch 74mm DBW Adaptor.

5. Complete Wiring Installation - Refer to Bosch Installation Instruction (not supplied).

6. Reinstall Intercooler Piping - Note that additional length will be required as this throttle body is shorter than the OEM Variant.
