JZA80 Supra Bosch Drive By Wire (DBW) Accelerator Pedal Adaptor

Description

Designed to accompany our Drive by Wire Adaptors for JZA80 / MkIV Supra, this adaptor piece will allow a universal Bosch DBW Accelerator Pedal assembly (PN:0 280 755 051) to be bolted up in place of the original cable drive pedal assembly using existing bolt holes.

No Drilling is required!!!

CNC'd from 6061 Aluminium; the bracket is designed to replicate the original pedal location and feel.

Available in LHD and RHD versions to suit MkIV / JZA80 and JZZ30 Chassis.

Note: We only offer the LHD versions as a complete kit with a Genuine Bosch Pedal, as the pedal requires a slight modification to the mounting point to offset the bracket's height. We are not offering the brackets separately for this reason.

Installation Tips

1. Contortion self under the dash to remove the OEM Throttle Cable and Pedal as per the Toyota Supra Repair Manual (TSRM)

2. Whilst still stuck under the dash, loosely install the upper two (2) M6 bolts with washers, followed by the lower bolt/washer through the bracket last. The upper bolt holes are slotted to provide ease of installation. Some fiddling with the firewall blanket may be required to move it up and out of the way, but no cutting is required.

3. Tighten down the adaptor bracket to the firewall.

4. Install the Bosch Pedal Assembly; it may pay to have the harness (not included) already plugged in, as the space behind the dash is tight.

5. Complete wiring and tuning of the pedal, and install the Throttle Body Adaptor (sold separately )on the engine. An aftermarket ECU with DBW capability is required to control the pedal.
