Delete the factory oil cooler assembly with our single-piece stud and simplify the coolant and plumbing around the block. This will allow a standard 1JZ/2JZ Oil Filter, such as Ryco Z418, to screw directly to the block.
The factory oil cooler assembly can fail without proper maintenance, leading to a damaged or clogged relief valve.
Our unique design allows the stud to attach securely to the block without risk of over- or under-threading. It is made from 4041 steel and zinc and coated for durability.
Installation Instructions

Remove the existing oil filter and oil cooler assembly as per the Toyota Service Repair Manual (TSRM)

Install the water bypass hose (optionally included or supply your own) to relink the coolant port on the block from the back of the water pump.

Install the oil filter stud and torque it to 70Nm.

Install a new Oil filter.
